Plug-in licenses are included

All our maintenance packages include the management and renewal of annual license fees for numerous commercial system extensions.

Managing and updating licenses that your website requires is often associated with manual effort and accounting tasks.

Without a maintenance contract, you would have to license, maintain and update these extensions yourself after the project is completed – the TBA would no longer be responsible after the handover.

As part of our maintenance service, we generally cover the costs of many basic modules – especially those that are necessary for the layout, structure, administration or security of your website and were already included when you took delivery.

Specialized modules, especially for e-commerce, marketing or search engine optimization, are offered separately by arrangement and charged separately, but we will also take care of the associated administrative work for you.

Maintenance bookable

We offer and recommend this as follow-up maintenance for ProcessWire websites that we have developed ourselves. Exceptions are possible.

ProcessWire (PW) is a powerful PHP framework for sophisticated web projects, unlike the modular WordPress. Our entire agency system is based on ProcessWire – including the remote control of all WordPress instances.

PW is highly flexible, complex and at the same time extremely easy to program. You could compare it to WordPress + Advanced Custom Fields – but much more powerful, more secure and without unnecessary ballast.

However, this flexibility also has a downside: the code is often heavily influenced by the handwriting of the respective developer. This can make maintenance by third parties more difficult, as the structure must first be analyzed, understood and adapted if necessary.

A particularly good example of this is the upgrade from ProcessWire 2 to version 3 – a process that requires in-depth expertise and considerable effort. Many smaller service providers fail here due to the complexity and depth of the system.

For this reason, we prefer to offer our cost-efficient PW maintenance for projects that we have developed ourselves – because here we know every line of code and can act quickly, purposefully and economically.
