When is SEO useful and for whom?

SEO is particularly worthwhile if your website is in competition with other offers. The stronger the competition, the more important targeted optimization is. On the other hand, if your topic is rare, your site will often rank well automatically – Google takes what it finds.

SEO is ideal for long-term projects, as it takes time to build up stable rankings. Ads (SEA), on the other hand, bring visibility more quickly, but are not efficient in the long term.

Technical factors such as loading time, mobile optimization or a clean page structure also play a major role – SEO is not just a text task.

Can you do SEO yourself?

Basically yes – with a lot of time, patience and know-how. However, the rules are constantly changing: New trends, technical requirements, Google updates.

Professional support has clear advantages: Agencies work with tools, experience and strategies that lead to better results faster.

SEO or SEA – which is better in the long term?

SEO brings sustainable visibility, while SEA (Google Ads etc.) generates short-term reach.

In highly competitive markets (e.g. law, real estate), SEO is time-consuming and expensive – SEA can be a sensible way to get started.

SEO is particularly difficult in so-called YMYL sectors (“Your Money, Your Life”), such as finance, health or law. Here, Google places high demands on the trustworthiness of a website – SEA is often the faster route to visibility.

“Page 1 on Google in 90 days” – is that possible?

Such promises are usually dubious. Rankings depend on many factors: Competition, starting position, keywords.

Realistic: Position 5 for a niche keyword (“buy used Porsche Berlin”) brings more than position 500 in the mainstream (“buy car”).

Or in marketing-speak: without a big brand, you should concentrate on MOFU/BOFU (middle/bottom of funnel) – i.e. target groups that already have a concrete intention to buy. TOFU pages(Top of Funnel, e.g. info articles without purchase intent) have long dominated Google AI.

Does the TBA know any secret tricks?

We are also familiar with“black-hat SEO” 😉 – but we consistently rely on white-hat methods: high-quality content, technology, long-term strategies.
