Web server upgrade and move to Strasbourg

Dear customers,

In the night of 26.10. to the 27.10. (Tuesday, early morning hours) we receive a server upgrade to the latest hardware and software. During this routine maintenance, your web presence may be temporarily unavailable.

What’s new:

EU server location:

  • Strasbourg, France – Brand new state-of-the-art data center!
    (Before that our server location was in Cologne).

Hardware, 64 BIT:

  • AMD EPYC
  • 3.2 GHz and 8 CPU cores
  • 64 GB RAM
  • SSD Drives (RAID1)
  • 1,000 Mbit/s switch port network connection
  • Traffic flat rate 1.000 Mbit/s
  • Linux CentOS

Software:

  • PHP 7.4
  • 64Bit operating system
  • MySQL is replaced by MariaDB
  • PHP-FPM replaces CGI
