In the first quarter of 2026, we will be migrating our web servers. Therefore, you can see the configuration data here for both the current (old) server “DF-1” and the new (future) server “MW-2“:
Set up a new account
Configure your e-mail app:

We usually take care of this for you:
Change settings (NEW server)
- Open webmail, webmail.mittwald.de
- Log in with your email address and password
- Click on Settings (gear icon)
- Select Password
Enter your new password
Save the changes - Go to Autoresponder and set up a new one if necessary.
- Save your changes
Change settings (ALTER Server)
You can configure the following settings for your email account yourself on our DF-1 server:
- Change password,
- Set up SPAM filter,
- Set autoresponder:

Simply enter your new password and click on “Apply”.
Consider secure passwords (see tips).
Hacked e-mails are a central gateway for hackers.
SPAM filter
Here you can change the filters for VIRUS and SPAM protection
SPAM filters offer protection against unwanted advertising.
Autoresponder
Automatic e-mail responses via an “autoresponder” can be easily set up here.
Example application:
Are you on vacation? – You can set up a timed automatic message in advance, which is sent back to an e-mail sender during the vacation period to inform them that e-mails will not be read until after the vacation.
Please test the autoresponder by simply sending yourself a small test message after the start date.

Note: The previously used Roundcube has been replaced by a new webmail system.
Please click on the new webmail login above and save the opened page as a bookmark in your browser to easily access the WebMailer in the future.
Remote maintenance support
In exceptional cases, technical support may be provided via remote maintenance of your Mac or Windows PC. This will only take place in your presence and only after your explicit approval.
